25 years later, we remember.

“No day shall erase you from the memory of time.” — Virgil

This quote has stayed with me for a long time. As a letterer and designer, sometimes the most meaningful thing I can do with this craft is give words the weight they deserve.

I wanted to do something different and record the process in a quick sketch using Procreate on the IPad. It’s tricky to record on a dark background but you know what they say. Practice makes perfect.

To everyone who lost someone, to the first responders, and to New York. We haven’t forgotten and never will.

What started as something to keep my hands busy turned into a full obsession.

Every water drop is different and reminds me of this tough stretch that not every day is the same. The only way to get the right shot is to stay patient (3000+ photos), adjust, and shoot again.

I didn’t expect this hobby to teach me something about myself. Here I am with these shots I’m genuinely proud of and a new understanding of what I’m capable of when I slow down and trust the process.

I wanted to showcase something different instead of ranting about AI. Here are a few shots using the Miops splash kit, water and food coloring to help with engagement and break the algorithm. I hope you enjoyed these as much as I did!

Life Is Beautiful

I decided to refine this lettering piece from a while back. I wanted to create some cool colors with the fur to make it pop out more. Even though it’s a little abstract and hard to read, I am super happy with the way this version turned out.

They say “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” ✨ 🌔

So, I grabbed my tripod and shot the moon at 500mm on two occasions earlier this month. Sometimes the best therapy is pointing a camera and just shooting. I know it’s ambitious to think I will get a good shot with all the light pollution in the city, but I had to test my patience and glad I did.

Here are the results of two nights and a gazillion attempts to get the moon in focus.

⚾️🏟️📸🍎

Finally took a break to be a human for a day.

Here are a few shots from opening week at Citi Field. It was cold, 30 something degree weather day.   The Mets have had a rough start to the season, but none of that mattered once I walked up and saw the stadium. I’m no pro but Photography has been a hobby I’ve grown to love. Perfecting the patience of waiting for the right moment to capture a shot and editing that RAW file is something I truly enjoy.  Perhaps I am a little biased because I have been a Mets fan my whole life, but that place is an architectural beauty—especially at night.

The more I practice, the luckier I get 🍀🤞🏽

This one hits different because it applies to everything. Design. Hand lettering. Life.

No matter the craft or the profession, the rules are the same. You put in the work, you stay consistent, and eventually the effort starts to compound.

This is part of my ongoing journey into Blender — exploring 3D design and pushing my lettering into new dimensions. Still growing. Still creating.

Yes I could had chatted a prompt to AI and had it create this but I want to keep learning and increasing my toolset. Shout out to Jepe and BlenderGuru. With out ya – this would not be possible.
