Have I ever said how much I love my clients? I don’t think I say it enough. These two are so amazing, they even went into the cold water of Lake Michigan so I could get the shot I wanted 😭😂 this session is so special, I can’t wait to dig into these and edit the rest 😍

I have a few sessions coming up in the next couple of weeks that I am SOOO excited for. I’ll be doing lots of traveling, meeting new people, and even some community work, and it has me reflecting on where I was just one year ago.

A year ago, I felt unsure of who I was outside of motherhood. Being a mom is one of the most rewarding things in my life, but for a long time, it was all I knew of myself. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. But deep down, I knew I wanted more too. I wanted to create, connect, and help tell people’s stories.

If you didn’t know this about me, I actually have a master’s degree in book publishing. I earned it while my first baby was still a newborn. Even back then, I knew I wanted to use storytelling to help people feel seen and remembered in ways they may not otherwise have the chance to be.

Photography has become an extension of that for me. Every session is more than just photos, it’s preserving connection and emotion.

So with all of that being said, thank you. Thank you to every single person who has supported me over the last year, trusted me with your memories, shared my work, encouraged me, or simply believed in me while I was figuring things out. It means more than I could ever fully put into words.
