What a thrill this morning being on a hot air balloon crew for the first time! The Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce included a call for volunteers in their newsletter a couple weeks ago. I texted the number and just like that I got a placement with Kenny Bradley in A Hot Air Affair . Low and behold Pam from Flights of Fancy LLC was there too! I've flown with Pam before and signed up to help her crew next summer too. There are so many cool things to do in life just by saying Yes.

Solo if you love teaching and want to record whenever it fits your week. Interview if you light up in conversation and like the idea of a guest who shares every episode with their people.

Still not sure? Pick the one you would actually sit down and record on a busy Tuesday. That's your answer. (tip: you can always change it up later, don't let this decision stop you!)

Been saying "I should start a podcast" for longer than you'd like to admit?

Here's what I see happen: Agonizing over a Podcast Name, format confusion, the platform overwhelm, and of course"how do I get anyone to actually listen" all sit in one big pile. Sorting that pile alone on a Tuesday night never makes it to the top of the list. So the idea stays an idea.

That's why I created Podcast Kickstart: Start Your Podcast in a Day. It's a build day, not a lecture. In person at Silver Paw Studio in Fort Collins, Colorado. Friday, September 25, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We sort the pile together, and you walk out with a name, a format, your hosting platform set up, a run of show for every episode, and a plan to get your first episode heard.
