Capturing moments isn’t just about taking pictures.
It is about preserving memories.

I know, cliche, but hear me out.

Less than a year ago, my sweet grandpa passed away. Even though I have a few pictures of him, I wish I had so many more – especially more recent ones.

Now make it a ritual to get branding shoots and fun sessions done at least once a year.

Life is a constant evolution, and these snapshots are little time capsules I hope to look back on when I am ninety years old and smile.

It’s something I’d love to incorporate within my passion of wedding photography. My personal style is to shoot film that looks like digital. I really like to showcase the actual colors that are in your wedding day. I mean they’re the colors you hand selected so I make it a personal mission to not saturate your choices.

You know what moment I’m talking about. It’s when the groom sees his bride for the first time. The second she turns the corner and we all turn to look. THAT gasp!

On this day, that gasp was heard around the world.

Here, we are all about Love! 💞

As someone who’s built a career on documenting all types and ranges of love, it’s kinda hard to define what love is. It’s kinda strange for us all to put words to what love is. That’s why I document the emotion because its something we all feel!

But you know what I can say about love?

It is not just a feeling but also an action. Love is kind, non-discriminatory, and ever-growing! Love is embracing and forming strong connection. Love is without judgement. Love is powerful.

Period. And let’s keep that in mind, not just during Pride month but every day after.

I am constantly in awe of the passion and love radiating from brides on their wedding day!

Behind my lens, I’m able to witness the transformation of a bride throughout the day as you go from getting ready to your first look, and all the way to the reception. I always love seeing the intricate details of every bridal gown—they just reflect the uniqueness of every bride.

It is through couple’s love that I find my some inspiration! Being able to document their genuine love that fuels my passion to capture the essence of their special day and freeze those cherished moments in time.

So here's to all the brides of Florida—all full of excitement, joy, and love. Although planning a wedding can be a little daunting, when your day full comes…embrace every second if it! Where do you find the words to describe the wedding night of your dreams?

Epic. Magical. Unforgettable!

These words get thrown around a lot but what I prefer are the images. They do what words can’t do—give you the feeling back! ❤️

Instead of trying to come up with the words to describe your wedding night, your wedding gallery transports you back to the day. Back to that feeling of walking down the aisle or of you two sharing your first dance and everything in between!

That’s why I make sure to document every aspect of your wedding day so you can always return back to the feelings of the moment! Especially those candid moments so you don’t miss a thing.

I’m going to let you in on a secret 🤫

Being in the game for a while let me hone in on what it takes to get these type of amazing shots.

Besides the essentials in a wedding photographer’s bag (ya know the assembly of lenses, flashes, batteries, the works!), I always make sure to bring along a back up camera 📸. I know what you’re thinking, “Patty, another camera?! That’s crazy!”

But hey, you never know what can happen and I am committed to making sure my couples have the BEST day to celebrate their love. I am not risking such an important day.

On that note, I always have some tissues on me because I gotchu when the tears are forming. Of course we will get the photo first, but then the tissue to not ruin any make up or using your sleeves.

OH! I can’t forget to mention to have extra cash on you…because again, you never know!

Don’t get me wrong—it’s a journey! I am embracing the growth but if I can help some of you along the way, I will. That’s part of what I am here on this journey for!
