Naples Pier before the crowds. 🌅

Just me, my camera, and the quiet — no footsteps but mine on the sand. There’s something about that stillness right before sunrise that resets everything. Nature is the best cure for the noise of daily life, and mornings like this are proof.

Shot before Ian rolled through — grateful I caught this pier and this moment exactly as they were.

Four hours, one kayak, and a front-row seat to Pine Island Sound’s finest 🦩🐦 From a great egret striking a pose to a brown pelican gliding just inches above the water, a roseate spoonbill peeking through the mangroves, and a pelican surveying its kingdom from the treetops — this is why I paddle. Nothing beats being eye-level with wildlife on a quiet Florida morning.
