Hey! I'm Sydnee. Wanna know what it's like having your pictures done by me?
Here are my red flags (I feel it's only fair to inform you ahead of time)

1. I will be your personal cheerleader. You're about to spend your entire session with a literal hype man, and it'll make you feel like a million bucks.
2. If you're crying, I'm crying, but it means I have tissues to share!
3. I will become your friend.. I want to hear about the new baby, the family reunion, the new career you're so excited for, your first day of college--all of it. And then you'll move across the country or something, but there I am on your social media and in your DM's because I'm so excited about whatever life update you've posted.
4. I will get very excited about your session and any ideas you're excited to share. Want something unique and creative? Say less. I'm here to make your vision come to life.
5. I help with outifts. Yep, you just got yourself a personal stylist. Outfit questions? Coordination concerns? I'll help you with colors, patterns, whatever you need.
6. I can't keep photos from you. Yes, I have a turnaround time for all my photos that you will know about ahead of time, but goodness I just cannot wait for your entire gallery to be done without sending you sneak peeks as I go.
7. I will be very energetic. I have yet to meet a client that doesn't instantly have a mood boost when they're met with energy. We're seriously about to vibe.
8. I will end up knowing something personal about you, and it'll make you smile. Somehow, I draw out the story that your sheepishly proud of--the one that gives you that real smile, I'll find it and you'll smile, and then we'll bond even more.
9. I will be available at least an hour before your session because I'm planning way over the top to make sure that I am prepared for ANYTHING.
10. If we're talking about a wedding specifically, I'm probably going to end up being friends with your parents, too. We're going to be celebrating you with equal excitement the entire day.

If these red flags aren't deal breakers, we should definteily work together ;)

Have you ever thought about doing a branding session for your business?
You should!
Here's why:
-Professional images instantly upgrade the look of your website or social media. A professional look is HUGE for any business, whether you've been around for a while or are just starting out.
-Clients get to see YOU. Before/after photos of work are great, and so is a clean website, but when a client gets to see your face and photos of you in action, they can start picturing themselves in those photos and are much more likely to want to reach out to you.
-They're fun! You're already in your natural element, I'm just there to cheer for you and make you feel like a superstar.
-Branding sessions can be customized. You can bring in models, we can work with more posed images, or we can do a healthy mix. Every business is slightly different, so the possibilities are endless. You can bring me as many ideas/inspo pics as you'd like, or I'll be there to give you suggestions and options to help guide you along the way.
Michelle and Julie were so fun to work with. I loved getting to take pictures for Michelle Dailey Hair Design. They are both so passionate about their clients, and the work they produced was beautiful.

It's Senior Sunday! Let's talk about props...
I love senior sessions. I always encourage my seniors to bring anything they'd like to display or showcase for their session. Sometimes it's a football or a letterman jacket, sometimes it's a dog, sometimes it's the cap and gown, maybe it's a car or a dance costume, and sometimes there's nothing the senior wants to showcase other than the photo session itself.
And then there was this...
Paxton told me he wanted to bring a giant cutout of Davin's head and a traffic cone. I have never had anything like this before. Ever. But did we have fun and some epic laughs? We sure heckin did.
And then there was Brock's session. He's got his football jersey, letterman jacket, football, and a couple of outfits for regular clothes. And then he pulls the Davin head out of his truck. Did he tell me ahead of time that this was happening? No, no, he did not. He and his mom both just looked at me like this was the secret they'd been keeping all along, and we all just broke out laughing. And then proceeded to carry the Davin head into the woods with us to finish our session from the football field with some shots in the trees.
If it makes you happy and you want pictures with it, I'm not going to say no!
