For Sean's graduating senior thesis project, he and I traveled to several state parks throughout Indiana - Indiana Dunes was obviously on our list. Believe it or not, I had no idea you could see the Chicago skyline from the shore until this trip. Even though I got sand in my bag and almost lost my camera to the waves, there's still something super special about watching the sunset with your person.

Even though Jaclyn and Mason couldn't have their traditional wedding today as planned, these two still had a beautiful front porch ceremony this afternoon and are going to party with all their family and friends 2021 ❤️🎉

Hi everyone! I'm just popping by to check in and share a little update.

So many things to say and share – I hope you’re all being safe and healthy out there! As much as it sucks, keep social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and overall just be smart. It’s such a weird and scary time right now, but to see the Fort Wayne community come together and support each other has been beautiful to witness. There are so many people to be thankful for and I worry that I’d accidentally leave someone off the list, so thank you to everyone who is doing what they can to help their community and neighbor ❤️

I got to spend some time last Saturday at House to Home's Grand Re-Opening event for their new storefront on The Landing Fort Wayne!

I loved their space on Berry Street, but man oh man, this new location is absolutely stunning and there is so much space for even more beautiful merchandise.

Not only am I super excited to watch Emily and Beth's incredible business continue to grow, but I'm also so thrilled that even more people will get to experience what House to Home is all about!

Some of you may remember that a while back, I was looking for the right way to clean up a brass swan I had thrifted from the downtown Broadway antique store. Well ladies and gents, this beautiful lady is ready for her reveal and transformation!

My friend Lesley over at Farm Finds Candle Co. did her thing and made my thrifted, antique swan into this amazing 100% soy candle! This swan had been sitting on my kitchen windowsill and acting as a ring holder, but now she’s a beautiful and one-of-a-kind candle that smells AMAZING 😍
