Hello! I have a couple more blogs put together for you all! It's about my Greek mythology series (surprise, surprise). But, I'm breaking down some of the ways I initiated, planned, and executed the sessions and series as a whole.

Artemis was not only a protector of infants, girls, and maidens, but also their destroyer as the Goddess of Disease and Sudden Death over them. Artemis was a mix of everything - protector, destroyer, hunter, and keeper. She is seen to be a fierce goddess who follows her own path and will stand for what she believes and wants to protect.
Ryann Reign portrayed an excellent Artemis during our session. This was the only character she wanted to portray because she felt so connected to this Goddess. When Artemis became available I let Ryann know and we scheduled the session.

I got to spend some time with The High Freqs at Axe to Grind Cafe tonight. The atmosphere was great during the performance and all of the tables ended up filled tonight. 💜 I was so glad I reached out to them to capture their performance here.

Apollo - you intended well with placing your love in others, but it always seemed to end in heartbreak for you, and often death for those you tried to love. But a sad life can lend to good art though, right?
Apollo was also known as the God of music, prophecy, healing, and archery. He was also often associated with light/the sun and many of the arts as well.
Kyle White made a great portrayal of Apollo for my Greek mythology series. Combining Apollo's often failed love attempts and his love of the arts, we went for more of a "tortured artist" sort of vibe with yellow/orange tones to portray Apollo's association with the sun. The background image for the collage and the single images was from a shot we took of Kyle's hands at the piano and I repeated and arranged in a pattern.

Athena was known as the Goddess of War, Wisdom, Strategy, and Craft. She was a woman of many talents and very intelligent. Obviously the best portrayal was through Model Paige Nicole.
We captured Paige as Athena so quickly, changing locations only once, and we wrapped it all up. Think we covered Athena well enough at that pace?

- Goddess Nyx in the series House of Night by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
Nyx was known as the Goddess of the Night. Dark, ethereal, enigmatic, foreboding, and beautiful. Felicia Carman was, once again, amazing to work with. Always posing so she's ready whenever I am, patient while I played with my lighting to get it right, and seemed to be up for whatever I wanted to try.
