Day one of Chaos Rising. My PKC order was delayed and wanted to rip, so I got over to my local game shop who had bundles left available into the afternoon (they cut the wrappers off as you buy so they can’t be resold.)

Anyways, ripped the bundle while playing Wyrmspan and bang, we struck gold ✨

Glad to have pulled it but wishing it was any other high numbered card from the set lol. Anyone wanna buy it reach out 😂

Another awesome card added to my Gen 2 PC.

My collection has mostly been narrowed down to 1 ETB of every set, and then from each generation I’m getting the legendaries and the team I beat the game with first.

This is kinda fun because it’s making me realize as a kid playing through Crystal I only used Pokemon I thought were cool looking. Before I understood the stat system, I understood the cool ass designs.

That said, my Gen 2 team was Feraligatr, Kingdra, Ampharos, Scizor, Tyranitar (I know I didn’t him till end game idc), and Espeon.

Espeon was a surprise, didn’t even realize HOW to evolve it when it happened, but after leveling up and it started evolving I had no idea what was happening but I just knew I was extremely lucky for whatever was happening to evolve the eevee.

Q1 had our number, not gonna lie. But Q2 we bounce back; the sun is out, our tomato plant is poppin off with the rest of the garden. Spring semester done, passing every class (including the hardest class of the grad program.)

Kid 1 is officially 2 yrs old and we haven’t even had a chance to have her birthday party yet, but she’s turned into the most charismatic and tenacious kid and I couldn’t be more proud or terrified for what we have in store.

Kid 2 is 3mo and sleeping through the night, and somehow is putting weight on like crazy. He’s gonna be a very large dude at this rate.

Pokemon collection has been swimming along, I’ve gotten very precise as to what I’m trying to collect so it’s been a lot slower of a build but it’s gonna be perfect.

Also planning a few other things, mostly just working to build myself mentally and physically. Can’t be the world’s greatest dad without being great to start.

As my daughter yells at me every morning, I CAN DO HARD THINGS AND IM GONNA HAVE A GOOD DAY.
Yell that at yourself daily and tell me you don’t see some changes.
