I just wanted to take a little second to say thank you. 🥹

At this point, my calendar is officially booked through October, and I genuinely could not be more thankful. There is currently no additional availability until November & November only holds availability for 2 full sessions.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words how grateful I am for every family who has trusted me to freeze these little pieces of your lives. Every session, every returning family, every referral, every kind message. I have such gratitude.

When I started Grace & Grain, I hoped I’d get to photograph beautiful families and make pretty pictures while trying to create a purpose outside of my motherhood journey. But somewhere along the way, this became so much more than that. I’ve gotten to watch families grow, meet new little ones, celebrate milestones, chase toddlers around, laugh through the chaos, and somehow turn all of those messy, ordinary moments into memories you’ll have forever. And I’m just really darn grateful that you let me be part of it.

A little love, a little sunshine, and the sweetest announcement. ✨

Before the little one arrives, there’s this beautiful little chapter. The slow days, the two of them, and the life they’ve built together. This is a season that will soon look completely different, but one they’ll always be able to look back on. I am so grateful I got to preserve a little piece of it. 🤍

I accidentally disappeared for almost a month. 😅

No dramatic reason, it’s just life.

My husband came home, we soaked up family time, had visitors in town, and spent two incredible weeks in Hawaii. I’ve been living a little more intentionally lately and social media took a back seat. Apparently that’s just part of my personality at this point. 🤪

But I’m back, and I couldn’t think of a better session to share.

This was my very first sunrise session at Garden of the Gods, and I don’t know if I can ever look at sunrise the same way again. It was quiet, peaceful, and almost empty. The soft morning light was absolutely unreal, and getting to photograph this sweet family while the park was still waking up was such a special experience.

It reminded me that sometimes slowing down really is worth the early alarm.

I have had so many newborns in studio recently and I am loving every second of it. 🥹

One of my favorite things about lifestyle newborn sessions is that it is not just about the baby. This session is about the family who is growing together - finding new rhythms, sibling snuggles, and tiny hand holding.

The baby may be the newest addition, but the story is so much about the whole family.

I still can’t get over how beautiful these moments were.

Military life has a way of moving fast.

One assignment turns into another. One PCS becomes the next. There are deployments, trainings, homecomings, promotions, new communities to build, and before you know it, years have passed.

Then you welcome babies into the picture.

The beautiful chaos grows. Tiny hands fill your days. Your conversations become about appointments and bedtime routines. Life gets fuller in the best ways, but it also gets busier.

And somewhere between serving your country, raising your family, and simply trying to keep up with life you realize you forgot to pause.

To look at the person standing beside you.

To remember the promises you made.

I do.
I will.

I will choose you through every stressful PCS.
Through every deployment.
Through every homecoming.
Through the sleepless nights with babies.
Through the laughter, the disagreements, the milestones, and the ordinary days that make up a lifetime.

Marriage isn’t just about the vows you spoke on your wedding day. It’s about living those vows, over and over again, through every season.

I hope every couple takes the time to slow down, hold each other close, and remember that choosing each other is still one of the most important things they’ll ever do. 🤍

I have officially accepted that I will *never* be caught up on social media. To be completely fair, I ghost my personal social media for weeks at a time. 🤭

Anyways, here is the Lindsay family! I absolutely loved loved loved having them in studio while the whole family was together!
