This is the first year I put Christmas up before Thanksgiving… because it’s the first year I haven’t had 10 weddings and 50 family sessions to edit before the holidays and let me tell you, it’s AMAZING!!!! For the first time in 12 years, I feel present (see what I did there!?). 🎁 🎅🏻

When the white oak vanity you want is $$$, you improvise! I took this builder grade lowes cabinet (for $189!!) and made it modern and expensive (looking). Loved it so much I did it in all of our bathrooms.

Every morning one of us says to the other, “yes! I get another day with you.” Which seems like we’re worried about dying in our sleep (and truthfully I am…I have horrible anxiety about him dying all of the time, but that’s another post)..but really it’s pure gratitude to God and to make us slow down and appreciate each other - because that’s all that matters… each other and our family…everything else is just stuff. I hope I get a bajillion more days with him. Thank you for our amazing family photos.
