The Martins are infectious in all the best ways. We played games, had ice cream, admired The Art Wall, and ran wild in the yard. I dont know who had more fun…me or them.

I was editing this session this morning & thought to myself: “Toddlers are my favorite patient population.”

Funny thing being:
- i dont even have patient populations as a photographer
- i havent been a nurse in a decade
- & theyre kinda the worst “patients” anyhow IYKYK
- but totally five stars during the photo making ♥️

One day when I look back on my time as a wedding photographer, this is one of the weddings that will be top of mind. Sus & I cried so many times.

The way Erin learned Mandarin & gave a speech in a foreign language to honor his family.

In a world that is constantly & increasingly devaluing life, I will always jump at the opportunity to boast about the goodness & purpose of each little life that God has ordained to exist!   I loved celebrating The Smiths at their lovely home with their three very wonderfully made children. I love Lauren’s boldness in proclaiming beauty in difference and how publicly she’s shared about their life with little Maisie lady.   What a God.
What a job!

Proof that a rainy day wedding ain’t all bad 🤍we have photographed this family multiple times through the years and we are never sad about it. Susie photographed this day for Allie & Max at Brandywine Manor House and I’d give it all a 12/10. The dance moves. The dog. The pregnant bellies. So much to love here!
