🏐 Another season in the books.

If you're a travel volleyball parent, you know how much goes into getting to this point.

The early mornings. The long drives. The hotel weekends. The practices. The tournaments. The wins, the losses, and all the memories in between.

For many athletes, this season represents years of hard work, friendships, and growth. Before the jerseys get packed away and everyone moves on to the next chapter, it's worth taking a moment to celebrate what they've accomplished.

That's exactly why I created these Studio Sportrait Sessions.
These aren't team photos. They're custom athlete portraits designed to showcase the personality, confidence, and dedication behind the player. Whether it's dramatic lighting, special effects, medals, championship gear, or simply creating something that feels larger than life, the goal is to create images that athletes and parents will be proud to look back on for years.
If your volleyball player had an unforgettable season, let's create something worthy of it.

14. Travel Volleyball. An Incredible Future Awaits!

These athletes are just a few steps into the amazing journey of travel ball. Their Media Day shoot brought some incredible energy and excitement for what’s ahead. Can’t wait to see just how bright they can shine!

Not every senior session is about dresses, flowers, and perfect poses.

Sometimes it’s train tracks, brick alleys, favorite hoodies, dogs, football fields, and finding a few locations that just feel like them.

One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is figuring out how to make the experience fit the person in front of my camera—not forcing everyone into the same cookie-cutter idea of what “senior photos” should look like.

Some guys show up thinking they’re going to hate every second of it…

…and then end up having a genuinely great time.

Senior year moves fast. If you’ve got a Class of 2026 senior (especially one who thinks they “don’t need photos”), let’s create something that actually feels like them.

Message me and let’s plan it.

I’m not your “standard team photo guy” instead I create sports portraits that feel like movie posters.

Every athlete brings their own energy.
Confidence. Fire. Personality. Story.

My job is turning that into artwork they’ll be proud to show off.

OK. Let’s GO.

I was walking at Rollins Ford Park yesterday...

I noticed that the wildflowers there were just starting to bloom. These 4 days of rain are going to make next week spectacular for the fields of flowers!

I've done several photoshoots there last spring/summer and absolutely love that park during the summer.

But, I'm looking for more location ideas too. Anybody know of other spots that are fantastic for the "rolling fields of summer flowers" vibes?

also... I'm aware the Manassas Battlefields exist. complicated history there, but thank you!

Senior year deserves more than the same photos everyone else has.

If you have been dreaming of something soft, magical, and completely unforgettable… spring is your season. Flowers, golden light, beautiful locations, and creative concepts that feel like they came out of a storybook.

The Class of 2026 season is here, and the best spring dates will disappear fast.

Let’s create something beautiful together.

One of my favorite things about these spring studio mini sessions is seeing athletes walk in a little unsure… and walk out feeling like stars.

Different ages. Different sports. Different personalities.

But every single one gets their moment.

These quick sessions for local clubs and schools may be short, but the goal is always the same: create something that feels bigger than just a photo.

Because these seasons go fast.

The little baseball player with the oversized cleats? He won’t stay little for long.
That volleyball senior? Her final season is happening right now.

That’s why this work matters.

A lot of people around Northern Virginia know me for my dramatic sports portraits… and honestly, I love creating those. My athletes bring so much energy and personality into every session.
But this time of year…It’s Senior Season!!

And I genuinely love these sessions for a completely different reason. There’s something special about this chapter.

Senior year feels like it lasts forever… until suddenly it doesn’t. Graduation announcements start showing up, college decisions are made, caps and gowns come out, and parents are left wondering how on earth it happened so fast.

These sessions are about pressing pause for just a moment.
Capturing who they are right now. Their personality, their style, the excitement, the confidence, and even that bittersweet feeling that this season of life is about to change.

Spring is beautiful right now, and it is the perfect time to get these done before graduation sneaks up completely.
If Senior Photos are still sitting on your “we need to do that” list… this is your sign.

BTS → edit → final.

This is why.

Anyone can take the photo.
Not everyone builds the moment.

I know you’ve got options when choosing a photographer,
but if you want something that stands out the second you see it…

I’m right here.

These sessions are Built Different. Crafted, Not Captured.

“Comin in HOT”… and they meant it 🔥

This wasn’t just a media day. This was a celebration.

Years of early mornings, Long tournament weekends, Medals earned. Teammates turned family.

The NPSC 17s came in to mark the end of their travel careers the right way… not quietly, but with energy, personality, and a whole lot of pride in everything they’ve built together. And it shows in every frame!!

This is what I love about these sessions.
It’s not just about photos… it’s about capturing a moment that you don’t get back.

Once this chapter closes, it’s closed.

If your team is wrapping up a season… or a career… don’t let it pass without documenting it.
