It’s been 25 years, but I still remember the moment I learned our country had been attacked.
I remember where I was. I remember who I was with. I remember who I called first. Like so many Americans, the memories of September 11, 2001, are forever etched in my mind.
Today, we remember the innocent lives that were lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the men and women who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed.
May we never forget the lives lost that day, the sacrifices that followed, and the lasting impact September 11th had on our great nation.
