I'm so thankful for photography friends!

A couple of weeks ago I ended up coming down with strep.. the day before I was supposed to do a senior session and a wedding.

Panicking, I reached out to my good friend .nicole and she was able to cover for me that day. 🙏🏻 The photos she took turned out beautifully!

I couldn't decide which shot from this perfect snowy engagement session was my favorite, so I asked my four year old which of these 10 he liked the best. He studied each shot and then thought for a few moments before deciding that this one was the best.

Good choice, buddy.

As I'm driving, there have been countless times when I've thought "that would make for a great photo."

But then immediately I make excuses for myself as to why I shouldn't stop. Usually they consist of "I really need to get to where I'm going. I shouldn't stop." or "What will people think about me if they see me stopped on the side of the road and pulling out my camera?" or "I don't have my big girl camera with me."

But by doing that to myself I've missed out on so many cool photos. So many neat memories and moments, gone.

So I'm trying really hard to stop. To maybe be a minute late to where ever I'm going. To stop caring what people think about me when they see me with my camera out. To take the shot.

I think it's going to be worth it, don't you?
