Well I just finished up the six players I covered last night between 7th and 8th grade Blue Devil teams. Both games were pretty physical with plenty of injuries including 2 of the boys i was covering. Aside from a player that did not see the field much and one who was injured early I am very happy with the photosets. Thankfully I will see these teams again and can push a few of the players back to that game to complete their sets. Looking forward to seeing them again and there should be some openings left for those games I believe. I will leave the registration link in the comments below. Tonight I will be covering some of Ga***rds JV and Varsity volleyball players.

After football last night I rushed over to the high school to cover a pair of Megan and Ayla as the Rayders hosted Kalkaska Blazer Volleyball. Plenty of good energy as the girls kicked off game with with a come back win and never looked back getting out the brooms for the three game sweep. Here are some of Megan and Ayla as well as some randoms to mixed in as well. Shout out to the student section for keeping the crowd going. Middle school football is on tap for Ga***rd tonight. Last night, It was three middle school Ramblers as they visited Charlevoix. A rivalry about as strong as any in the north. The boys fought hard but ultimately fell short at the end. I have some pop warner coming up for some Boyne teams as well. I will leave the registration link in the comments below. Same link as for tonights games in Ga***rd. 8th grade is sold out with a few spots left for 7th grade.

Saturday was for U13 Soccer here in Ga***rd. Pretty good game to watch with Ga***rd coming out on top and remaining undefeated. I get to see these boys later in the season with another 3 players to focus on. Tonight, I am off to Charlevoix to catch up with the Boyne City middle school football team and off to the high school for some Charlevoix volleyball. Football is sold out and I believe there is 1 opening for varsity volleyball.

How about starting this morning off with a little love to the Northman Band. One of the most if not the most impressive in the north. Ga***rds is right up there with them. Looking forward to seeing them this friday for the Blue Devil Valor game.

Friday night week 2 took me to Northman Stadium in Petoskey to cover four athletes. I knew going into this game it was probably going to be a easy win for the Northmen as they hosted a small and struggling Sault team. Petoskey did what Petoskey normally does and puts up a mid season performance even though its still early. The second half resulted in mostly 2nd and 3 string players getting some reps which was nice to get a glimpse of what the future holds for this team in the near future. I however would liked to have seen my players a bit more but when I did the schedule I assumed this would be the case and made sure to schedule a second Northmen game just in case to be able to round out any players in this exact situation. Next trip to Petoskey for this varsity team will be for homecoming as they host Ga***rd. One of my favorite matchups of the season regardless of division.

Last night I was in Glen Lake to photograph David and Dominic as they hosted Harbor Springs in the week 2 matchup. The Lakers took the win as I assumed they might but Harbor Springs showed up and proved they can hang with just about anyone. It was a pretty good game to watch. I enjoy photographing at night at Glen Lake as the LED lighting makes for a pleasant experience as far as high school fields go. Here are some photos of the boys as well as a few randoms sprinkled in. Tonight, I am off to Petoskey for some varsity action to see my first big north teams of the season go head to head. No openings for this one.
