I had the chance to meet up with a client today ahead of an upcoming shoot and brought the drone along to see how the horses would react to it.

They did great, and while we were at it, I was able to capture some awesome aerial footage of the horses and this beautiful property! What started as a quick test turned into a pretty cool little video.

What an incredible weekend! 💍🎥

I had the opportunity to spend two days capturing this beautiful wedding—from the rehearsal to a full 13-hour wedding day filled with unforgettable moments, laughter, emotion, and celebration.

A very special thank you to my client for trusting CD Photography with such an important occasion, and especially to the bride and groom for allowing me to be there to capture one of the biggest days of their lives. It was an absolute pleasure working with you and your families, and I truly had a blast being a part of it!

Sometimes the best practice doesn’t feel like practice. 🎥

I recently took some time away with the family, but of course…the cameras came with me. 😂

Whether I’m filming for a client or just capturing memories with my own family, I’m always looking for that next shot — trying different angles, testing equipment, flying the drone, and finding new ways to turn everyday moments into something worth remembering.

Here’s a little look at what I captured while I was supposed to be “on vacation.” 😂

Every trip gives me another chance to sharpen my skills, learn something new, and bring those skills back to my work with CD Photography.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about having the equipment.

One of my very first shoots was right here at the Brown County Fair after the sun went down. I had a camera, a vision, and a lot to learn.

Fast forward one year...

Since then I've had the opportunity to film weddings, community events, promotional videos, real estate, drone projects, and even serve as the official videographer for Brown County's 250th Celebration. Along the way I've upgraded my equipment, sharpened my skills, and learned something new with every project.

Looking back at these photos reminds me just how far this journey has come in only a year.

🚁📷 Big upgrades are on the way for CD Photography!

I'm excited to announce that in the next few weeks, I'll be adding two incredible new pieces of equipment to my videography arsenal:

📸 Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens. This professional L-Series lens will become my go-to lens for weddings, events, real estate, promotional videos, and cinematic storytelling. Its versatility means I can quickly adapt to changing scenes while delivering the sharp image quality and beautiful colors my clients deserve.

🚁 DJI Avata 360 This drone opens up an entirely new perspective. From immersive FPV-style flights to dynamic action shots and creative fly-throughs, I'll be able to capture footage that's simply not possible with a traditional drone. Whether it's showcasing a business, highlighting an event, filming a wedding venue, or creating exciting social media content, this drone will help tell stories in a whole new way.

At CD Photography, I'm always looking for ways to improve my craft and invest back into the business. Every new piece of equipment is another tool that allows me to create more cinematic, more engaging, and more memorable videos for my clients.

I can't wait to start putting these to work and share what they can do!
