This is the moment I realized proposals aren’t just about the question
 they’re about everything leading up to it.

The shaky hands.
The deep breath.
The “act natural” walk that is absolutely not natural.
The trying-to-hide-a-ring-box-in-tight-pants struggle (justice for all my proposal clients).

But then

The second they drop to one knee, time does that weird movie thing where everything goes quiet.
Like the world pauses just so these two can have their moment.

This proposal is still one of my favorites because it wasn’t about perfection.
It was about the way they looked at each other after.
The way her hands shook.
The way he kept laughing from sheer relief.
The way they held onto each other like, yep
 this is it.

Proposals matter because you only get one.
One chance to capture the exact second your life shifts into a new chapter.
One moment that turns into a story you’ll tell a thousand times.
And being the one to document that? Yeah
 it never stops being an honor.

Here’s to proposal season!
To the planners, the criers, the “I blacked out I don’t remember what I said,” and the couples who make this job feel like witnessing the start of something sacred.
