Definitely one of my favorite parts of being a newborn photographer: the snuggles between the setups, the rocking, the soothing, and getting to know each tiny little personality.

Big sister duties officially begin. 💕

There’s something extra special about photographing a brand-new baby with the people who already love her so much.

From snuggles with big sister to the tiniest little details, this gallery came together with so many sweet moments. And can we talk about all these soft, dusty pinks? 😍 I love how everything coordinates without every setup looking exactly the same.

One of my favorite things about a newborn session is creating a gallery that captures more than one beautiful portrait. The little details, the family connections, and all the different ways you’ll want to remember just how tiny they were.

Because somehow, they never stay this little nearly long enough. 🥹💕

You’d never know it from these photos… but this sweet girl made me earn every single one. 😂💕

Every baby comes into the studio with their own little personality and their own ideas about how their newborn session is going to go. Some settle right in, and some need a little more time, patience, snuggles, and convincing.

This little lady definitely kept me on my toes. 😂 But one of the most important parts of newborn photography is knowing when to slow down and follow baby’s lead.

We take breaks when we need them. We feed, soothe, snuggle, change things up, and give baby the time they need to feel comfortable. There’s no need to force a pose or rush through a session just because something was on my “plan.”

And eventually… they usually decide I’m not so bad after all. 😉

Just look at her. 🥹 The sweetest little face, those tiny toes, and that adorable bear set. She may have made me work for these, but goodness, she was worth it. 💗

From tiny newborn snuggles to ONE! 🎀👑

One of my absolute favorite parts of newborn photography is getting to see these sweet babies come back as they grow. 🥹 The reel has a few little glimpses from her newborn session, and now here we are celebrating her first birthday!

And apparently, she remembered me because there was zero stranger danger happening here 😂. She was perfectly content sitting in my lap, hanging out with me, and just having the best time during her session. 💕

I love getting to capture all of these different phases. The sleepy newborn days, the growing personalities, the smiles, the silliness, and all the little things that make them unique. It goes so unbelievably fast.

And for this milestone? Pink, bows, crowns and a castle were definitely in order. 🎀🏰👑

Taken on my posing bean bag, so many little details to remember from the sleepy face, tiny toes, wispy newborn hair, and those perfect little hands tucked beneath her cheek.

The posing portion of my newborn sessions is designed to give you beautiful variety without needing lots of props or elaborate setups. We can change wraps, textures and accessories while keeping the focus exactly where it belongs. On your baby. 🤍

And I don't think I'll ever get tired of these soft, neutral tones.

The tiny toes in the wooden bowl, those little hands tucked under her chin…and then THAT smile in the flower. 🌸 I mean, come on.

Props, colors and accessories can all be chosen to create a session that feels just right for your baby and your style.

From the tiniest little smile to those perfect newborn details, this sweet girl gave me so much goodness to work with.

One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is creating a gallery with lots of variety while still keeping everything soft, cohesive and focused on baby. And this one came together beautifully. 🤍

Now excuse me while I try to narrow down which ones to share, because apparently choosing just a few is not one of my strengths. 😂
