Cancun, Mexico

Chloe and Noah’s wedding was one of those days that somehow managed to be incredibly beautiful, deeply emotional, and an absolute blast all at once. Between starting their day with private vows, Ryver wearing the same dress Chloe wore at her parents’ wedding, a gorgeous oceanside reception with cold sparks on the dance floor, and an afterparty that kept going in the lobby past 2AM, their day was one for the books!
More than anything, these two are just the sweetest together. They are so clearly in love, and being surrounded by so many people who love them made the whole week feel incredibly special. Getting to document it all in Mexico was such an honor, and we’re so glad they trusted us to be there for it.

So incredibly proud!! Today Cohl graduated with his associates of applied science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University! Not only did he earn three course director awards but also was the course VALEDICTORIAN!! On top of that- early into the program he was asked to be a student mentor to help guide and encourage his peers. I have always described Cohl as the type to "not be okay with just being okay at something" which still absolutely rings true. Everything this guy does, he pours his heart and soul into and he is one of the most humble, talented, driven, creative and all around wonderful people I know. He is in the Bachelor program so he still has another year of school ahead but I know he is going to continue to do great things. Please join me in congratulating this incredible guy for his outstanding achievements! ❤️

Sure, photos can capture the details of the day, but there is sooo much that a still image lacks. Imagine forgetting all the little moments like how your dad whispered "I love you" while he is walking you down the aisle, seeing that dip you practiced 1000 times for your first dance, the speech your best friend since elementary school gave or the laughter and chatter of all your guests throughout the day. These are all some of the many reasons we believe hiring a videographer on your wedding day is SO important! Think of all the generations to come who you'll want to really relive the day with. Yes the photos are important - OF COURSE but we believe video is just as, if not more important, in preserving all the fleeting moments of your wedding day. There is so much you're going to miss on your day because you'll be busy doing other things-trust us to capture all those little things in motion.

Since they started demolishing the House of Ludington this week after the devastating fire, I've been reminiscing on the wedding I had the opportunity to document there a few years ago. Eric and Olivia were so excited and proud to have been able to celebrate their wedding there. Especially since it was during the tail end of the pandemic when so many things were already up in the air and many venues remained closed.

It's heartbreaking to see such an important and historic building disappear from our tiny town. Imagine how many life long memories were made there, how many first dates and proposals.

The building may be gone, but all of those awesome moments are still in our hearts!

We met David and Sophia for what was supposed to be a "super quick save-the-date session" but we had way too much fun with them and ended up with a gallery of 100+ photos. We can't wait for their actual engagement session this summer and are thrilled to get to document their wedding at the end of the year!!
