Today’s tip is all about the beginning of the day and some of the terms that might still be foreign to you, but not for long 😊
Let’s break down some elements of Bridal prep and the phrases that deserve explanation.
What do we mean by a Detail shot:
A wedding detail shot is a close-up photograph that focuses on the small, significant items that tell the story and set the mood for the wedding day.
• Personal Items: Wedding rings, jewelry, perfume/cologne, shoes, watches, cufflinks, heirloom pieces, vows, and the dress/suit.
• Stationery: Full invitation suites, save-the-dates, programs, menus, place cards, and stamps.
• Floral & Decor: Bouquets, boutonnieres, loose florals, centerpieces, cake, signage, and unique venue elements.
• Ceremony/Reception Elements: Champagne flutes, favors, guest books, and table settings.
Flat Lays and Invitation Suite.
A flatlay is a photograph or artistic style where objects are arranged on a flat surface and shot from directly above.
Invitation suite
A wedding invitation suite is a coordinated set of stationery pieces that provide guests with all the necessary details for a wedding, including the main invitation, RSVP card, and optional inserts such as reception information, directions, or accommodation details.
