Another Labor Day weekend at the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show is in the books! 👏🏻

Thank you to everybody who made this weekend so successful and rewarding yet again - our show staff and volunteers, riders, trainers, and my clients who I look forward to cheering on and watching hit goals every year. Working conditions were pretty ideal (🌤️!) and I am stoked to get alllll of these photos from the weekend in front of you.

The 83rd Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show & Country Fair Ludwig's Corner Show Grounds is just around the corner and my books are open for client coverage - but not for much longer!

In order to fulfill my duties as your Official Photographer and cover a wider range of riders, private client bookings are available on a LIMITED basis.

Signing up for private client coverage guarantees you are professionally photographed at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show and receive a personal gallery with all of your photos. Not every ring will be covered simultaneously. My schedule fills up quickly each year, and a waitlist will be started once my books close.

Virginia is for lovers — and Derby at the Vineyard! 🍷

Wind Vineyards at Laurel Grove provided us with a picturesque welcome to the state at every turn, and you can find all of your show photos online now!

All ordered proofs will have full exposure/color correction and cropping performed upon purchase.

What a whirlwind of a weekend down at Wind Vineyards at Laurel Grove for the first Derby @ the Vineyard show in Virginia!

After spending most of the day after the show on the road, I’m now diving into processing photos for all of you, our new VA friends. 🫶🏻

All photos from Derby at the Vineyard LLC at Dove Valley Winery are online! 🕊️

Lovely venue, horses, and people as per usual!

What caught my eye here even more than the wide open derby field, florals, square knees over fences - were the moments outside the ring.

To be honest, I may have missed a fence or several 🫣 due to higher than average instances of happy tears, high fives, and the wins not reflected in ribbons happening behind me.

LUDWIG’S CORNER THOROUGHBRED TAKEOVER - the whole package! 📸 🏇🎨

Not only did I have the pleasure of covering the show as the Official Photographer - I also designed the logo and branding for the Thoroughbred Takeover earlier this year, a brand new show hosted by Ludwig's Corner Show Grounds as part of the East Coast Thoroughbred League .

When creating the logo I envisioned something bold that would not only honor our racing thoroughbreds in the world of sports with varsity-style typography, but sit perfectly in a ribbon badge and make a memorable impact on show deliverables and other award items.

From the early logo versions in January, to finally seeing it hang off a bridle six months later, it was fun to watch it come to life this past weekend!

Thank you to everyone who made the inaugural Thoroughbred Takeover such a success and to Sam for covering the hunter ring. I hope you enjoy reliving the day through your photos!
