We’ve selected our winners for our “Chroma” Summer Photo Contest! Since this contest featured three categories, we have nine winners to announce!

For the Primary Color category, our First Place winner is Anthony Londer (“Colorful Doors”), Second Place goes to Jerry Klumper (“Morocco 12”), and Third Place goes to Adam Aalgaard (“The Full Monte”). For the Complementary Pairs category, our First Place winner is John Stottlemyer (“Adobe Red Old Tucson”), Second Place goes to Liang McIntosh-Yee (“The Whiskey In The Window”), and Third Place goes to Jeff Grotte (“Yellow Discus”). For the Black & White category, our First Place winner is Sarah Foss (“Soul Dog”), Second Place goes to Vinayak Bapat (“Twist and Turn”), and Third Place goes to Trent Spies (“Staircase”). Congratulations to all of our incredible winners!

For this contest, we challenged participants to see summer through the lens of color itself, from saturated scenes filled with primary colors and complementary pairings that pop, to the absence of color with black-and-white compositions. Enjoy browsing through more of our favorite entries with our Honorable Mentions—they only win bragging rights for being showcased here, but we hope these amazing photos inspire you to create your own Chroma captures.
