Some moments feel like they were made to be remembered forever. 🤍

The sleepy smiles, tiny fingers, soft little breaths, and those sweet little milk spots on her nose.

Getting to photograph sweet Judith was a little more special than usual — not only is she the newest little soul in front of my camera, she’s my husband’s baby sister and the newest piece of our family.

One day she’ll be so much bigger than this, but for now, she’s brand new, deeply loved, and exactly where she belongs.

A little bittersweet update 🍂🤎

Unfortunately, I’ve made the decision to cancel Fall Minis this year. With no sessions officially booked or deposits received, it just doesn’t make sense for me to move forward with the mini date.

I’m definitely a little sad about it. I love dreaming up these seasonal sessions and creating something special for your families, but I’ve also realized that minis may just not be the best fit for my business anymore.

Because of that, I’ll likely be stepping away from holiday and seasonal mini sessions moving forward and putting more of my energy into full sessions—the slower, more intentional kind where we have time to capture your family as you really are. 🤎

I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has supported Root + Bloom Photography, whether you’ve booked with me, shared my work, recommended me, or simply followed along.

Full family, maternity, newborn, motherhood, couples, and other sessions are still available, and I’m so excited to keep documenting all of those little pieces of life that deserve to be remembered. 🫶🏻

One growing up right before your eyes, two still in those sweet little years, and a mama getting to hold onto all of it for just a little longer.

Because someday they’ll all be bigger, these days will look so different, and these photographs will be a reminder of what home felt like right now — warm hugs, little laughs, beautiful chaos, and all. 🤎

I’m needing some feed back on these! I’ve had numerous people express interest in minis and family fall photos yet here we are 1 week from the set date practically and I’ve had absolutely zero bookings on it! What is the reason YOU aren’t booking? I’m curious and open to suggestions and accommodations and am willing to adjust things! Please let me know!

For a little while, the world gets quieter. 🤍

You memorize the weight of them in your arms, the softness of their skin, the way their tiny fingers curl around yours. You study every little feature, knowing somehow that even though these days can feel endless, this version of them will only exist for a moment.

One day, these tiny hands will be bigger. Those little cheeks will change. He’ll outgrow the place where he once fit so perfectly against your chest.

But photographs let us keep a piece of it.

Sweet boy, you have no idea just how deeply you are loved — and what a beautiful privilege it was to preserve a little piece of your very beginning. 🤍
