To the moms watching your babies grow up… I know this season can feel bittersweet. One minute you’re tying little shoes and packing lunches, and the next you’re celebrating college plans, careers, and big dreams.

Take the photos. Hold them close. Years from now, these won’t just be senior portraits—they’ll be a reminder of who they were in this beautiful season, and of all the love that got them here. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of wedding days happens in complete silence.

While I’m photographing your rings, I take a moment to pray over your marriage. I pray that your love grows deeper with every season, that you’ll choose each other even on the hard days, and that your home is filled with grace, laughter, and peace.

If you’re blending families, I pray for those relationships too—that God would knit your hearts together and give you wisdom, patience, and so much love.

I’m often asked how I got into photography.

The answer is actually pretty simple.

I was a foster mom who just wanted one good photo of each of my babies. I knew our time together might be limited, and I wanted to document that they were deeply loved, celebrated, and cherished.

So I bought a camera, taught myself how to use it and somewhere along the way, I fell in love with photography.

Those babies may have only been in my home for a season, but they’ll always have a place in my heart. Their photographs have become some of my most treasured possessions because they take me right back to those moments we shared.

That’s why photography means so much to me. It’s not just about taking beautiful pictures. It’s about preserving the people, the seasons, and the moments we never get back.

And that’s how Lo & Co Photography began. 🤍

Forever chasing sunsets 🌅🤍

From the dreamy light filtering through the trees to the peaceful water, every moment felt like it was waiting for us. And that perfectly placed log resting at the shoreline? I’m calling that a little God wink. 😉🤍

The camera only captures the image.

It doesn’t capture the planning, the laughter, the problem-solving, or the photographer sitting on railroad ties trying to find the perfect angle.

Side note: I’m grateful for friends who capture the behind-the-scenes moments. As photographers, we’re rarely in front of the camera, so these little snapshots mean more than you know. 🤍
