Really enjoying the fall colors this week on the farm 🙂
Cutting that new birding trail last month opened up about 10 acres of land that was inaccessible so I’ve been out exploring as much as I can to learn what’s flying around the area.

I really like the view at this new bird feeder spot on the south slope overlooking an are we call the Clover Bowl. The birds seem to be pretty active in this area too which is pretty neat :)

After a long summer away, Mr. Hermit Thrush returned to the farm about an hour ago.
I love this bird.
He was such a total camera hog last year as he spent most of his time camping out on the feeder mogging for the camera lol!
I’m glad to see that he’s back!!

Now that most of the Yellowjacket bees are gone I can finally start serving my peanut butter and fruit suet again at the bird feeders.
It’s a hit with all things feathered and furried lol 😉
