Newborn photoshoot yesterday..I clicked the shutter button and was not prepared for the ARTWORK I just created in camera! It's not just a photo. It's artwork mom gets to have FOREVER!

✨Newborn sessions can be very challenging but they are always so worth it! So many unspoken things go into these photoshoots!
There is a variety unexpected things that can happen during a newborn session so expect to be there awhile. Don’t dress too warm cuz it gets hot 🤣
✨I always book for 2 hours and do my best to stick with that! 😆 But baby is always the BOSS! Lol! I mean.. I just can’t let you leave with a baby sound asleep if it means I can grab another photo quick🥰🥰😂
✨I had a handful of throw up last week! If this is gross to you .. I hope you’re not doing newborn photography because this is part of it. Then comes the p*e and blowouts 😂 It’s a great time 😆Somehow this all heals the parts of me that think I want more babies… ugh how can you NOT😭😭😍🥰
✨I love seeing new photographers but when I see very new photographers doing newborn session to fill their portfolio, it’s honestly terrifying!
✨I can’t help but feel that way because I’ve had first time parents laugh at me when I say “stay veryy close because baby will jump off that bed” because they WILL try😂😂 If you don’t know .. This is called a startle reflex and all babies have it. They are involuntary muscle spasms. So as where they can’t do a whole lot of nothing for themselves they come out VERY STRONG 😆🫶🏼
✨The photos are almost NEVER as they seem! Someone’s hand was removed or it’s a composition (2 photos into 1)! It’s important to know and understand the difference for sake of the babies safety!

Look at this flower my daughter gave me for Mothers Day. She grew it herself and it just amazes me how HAPPY it is in that tiny cup!!
Happy and growing using the resources it has available 💛
✨ Honestly, I’m scared to move it cuz its so happy there 🫣😆

I sometimes relate things in life to flowers!
There’s a different understanding when you see the physical results rather than feel them!
✨Stop watering a dead plant ✨ when you keep trying to continue work, friendships, relationships that are just not working.
✨pruning the flowers✨ get rid of the unhealthy, dead things so new can grow
✨watering✨. Literally how IMPORTANT water is for us to function. DRINK YOUR WATER!!
