A dramatic play

I have walked on dark brown soil, waterfall treasured mountains, cheesy food debris and white dog droppings with these pair of shoes. They are more than just fashioned foot protection and I was reminded of that as I held them inches over my trashcan. I needed to depart of them, or so I thought. It's been long enough, hasn't it? I stood there like an adventurer who just delved to deep in Medusas Lair -- it was odd. Very odd, if I may say, but the feeling was backed with good spirit. I regressed and felt an overwhelming urge to get artsy -- poetic even. Unashamed by this feeling, yes, yes, yes, I write this little song to the journey this pair of shoes is a part of. A thank you, of sorts. A remembrance of the tracks. A laugh on how these old, beat up things are still kickin'. Some good soul food, from the sole.
