The race season has begun! Rd 1 for Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit started off with a co sanctioned race with AMRA Racing In Morristown, AZ. All I can say is what a very well put together race!! The terrain was gnarly, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish due to a wreck that happened in section 2. My slave banjo bolt broke and I lost my clutch. I was determined to finish the race without a clutch… but was told there was no way I’d make the next section without it (apparently it was a big step up shelf section🤷♀️). And to top it off while trying to ride out without my clutch my master link on my chain decided it was done!
Thankfully they had several sweep riders riding through at various points, two gentleman helped me un knot my chain and I had to call it…
I started out strong, my timing was smooth. I was sitting in 4th out of 7th in women’s A class. All though I did not finish I’m happy with the progress I made! On to the next race 🤟🏻
