It’s such an honor to be asked to capture multiple milestones for families. Last summer Lauren asked me to photograph her extended family on Topsail Island and this year I got to photograph her preparing to welcome her second baby! I kept Haven home from school this morning just so she and I could spend the morning at Airlie Gardens. We met up with friends and spent two hours exploring this place. We twirled through the tulips, collected leaves and petals from the ground, rang the church bell and stood in awe under the Airlie Oak. No hurry, no lines, just soaking in the beauty God gave us.

Airlie Gardens in full bloom is pure spring magic! 🌷✨

There’s nothing quite like an Airlie Gardens photoshoot when the tulips are at their peak. Rows of vibrant color, soft coastal light, and timeless Southern charm around every corner.
Photographing my sweet friend Becky and her beautiful family was like walking through a living painting. Airlie made the perfect backdrop for all their portraits.

1K Giveaway Session Winner!!! Mindy was the winner of my giveaway and it was so sweet to meet her and her fiancé Daniel! We decided to start our session in the intracoastal (apparently I’ve never shot there at low tide and I was fighting for my life with the mud! 😅). They were the cutest couple! Then Mindy did a quick outfit change and we ran across the street to finish our session at the beach! How lucky are we to live in a place that gives us two gorgeous landscapes side by side!
