I thought it would be fun to re-introduce myself to all my new friends on here! My name is Karola and I’m originally from Germany. THINGS ABOUT ME THAT I KNOW YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW:

-I love coffee!
-I love to laugh!
-I love Sweets especially German ones
-I also really love gospel music, some more coffee, lemon pepper chicken wings and a really really really deep conversation about what Jesus has done in my life.
-I love self reflection and growth and setting goals!
-I also just love to rest.
-I love the beach or anything involved with water.
-And I love plants and everything boho, beautiful sunsets that take my breath away and a good organizational method in everything
I love to decorate and change things around while drinking coffee of course, lol
My favorite color is blush and my passion for photography started when I was a teenager. And I’m a grandmother already which truly is the very best part in my life ♥️ and of course my wonderful husband who supports my small business and I’m so very grateful for him. Family means the world to me and I believe that is why I love what I do and do what I love. Every family needs to have pictures with their loved ones. Nothing is more priceless than looking back at a moment through a picture printed out. Thank you for supporting my dream. 📷♥️

Day 3: Black & White

Because sometimes it’s not about the color, it’s about the light, the texture, the moment, and the story.

Being back in Germany has reminded me just how much I love noticing the little things…the quiet streets, old buildings, beautiful countryside, people passing by walking or on bikes, and those simple everyday moments that somehow feel so meaningful.

Maybe that’s why black & white feels especially fitting right now. It strips everything back and lets me see the moment for what it really is.

And honestly…being here has me looking at photography a little differently. 🤍

Today, it’s RED ❤️

From cars and shopping carts to flowers, coffee cups, little details, and even chocolate… somehow, red was everywhere once I started looking for it.

Photography has a funny way of doing that, making you slow down, look closer, and notice the beauty in things you might normally walk right past.

Here’s to seeing the ordinary in a whole new way.

I’ve decided to challenge myself to see the world through a different color each day while in Germany. 📸

Today’s color is BROWN 🤎

There’s something about brown tones that just feels like home. Warm textures, old world charm, cozy corners, weathered doors, and all those little details that make a place feel timeless.

And apparently, Germany has no shortage of them… and I’m definitely not mad about it.

A little different from the family photography you usually see from me, but photography is also about noticing the beauty in the everyday.

A little note to my clients 🤍

With all of the recent conversations surrounding AI and the use of children’s images online, I just want you to know that your comfort and your family’s privacy will always be the most important thing to me.

I love being able to share the beautiful moments I capture for you on social media, but I completely understand that not everyone is comfortable with their little ones being shared publicly.

Going forward, I have decided that I will no longer share identifiable faces of children on my social media. 🤍

This will not change your experience with me or your gallery in any way. You will still receive your gallery just as normal, with all of the beautiful memories we capture together.

And honestly, I think we can get super creative with some posing, details, little moments, and angles where their faces aren’t visible. There are so many beautiful ways to tell your family’s story without showing their faces as you see below. 🤍

If you have a previous session where your child’s face was shared and you would like me to remove those images, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I will absolutely remove them. No questions asked. 🤍

Your memories are yours, and I want you to always feel safe and comfortable trusting me with them. I will always respect the choices you make for your family.

I’m officially out of the office starting today through October 13th while I’m off to Germany and Puerto Rico for some much needed time with family, friends, and a few new adventures! 🤍

I’ll still peek at my emails here and there, but with the time difference, my responses may be a little slower than usual. So if you have questions about future sessions, bookings, pricing, or anything photography related, please be patient with me. I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
