Fun fact about your photographer!
Back in December, I received my EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) certification after joining the fire department last year. My better half earned his certification the year before after returning to the fire service following about eight years away. He’s also a certified firefighter (and yes, that’s actually a thing! 🤣).
Before working in orthopedics, I spent eight years in the hospital as a CNA, floating between multiple departments. My last three years were spent in the Emergency Room, and if I’m being honest, I truly missed that part of my life.
Today, I work alongside an orthopedic surgeon helping patients through hip and knee replacements. While it’s a completely different side of healthcare, it’s still incredibly rewarding to play a role in improving someone’s quality of life.
Whether I’m behind a camera, in a clinic, or responding with the fire department, one thing has always stayed the same: I love serving people and being part of their stories. The fire department has also become a family I never knew I needed, and I’m so grateful for the friendships, support, and sense of purpose it has brought into my life.
Just a little peek into the life of your photographer. ❤️
