Back in 2015, I drew Bryan at Community CARES. So proud of you, Bryan! Congratulations!

Fast forward 11 years, and he’s now the owner of B & L Dogz! 🙌

There was a time I didn’t have a penny to my name… not even a place to call home.
Just a whole lot of ambition and a dream.

One day, this artist walked into Carlisle Cares — now Community Cares. She took time out of her day to practice her craft and asked me, “Do you have a second so I can draw you?”

I said, “Sure.”

What she probably didn’t realize is that she gave me more than a sketch that day. She gave me a moment of dignity. A moment of being seen.

And the lesson I learned?

You will never forget how people made you feel.
Don’t let that go over your head.

Stay kind. Stay human. Stay aware. 💯

🍂 Kings Gap Environmental Education Center Garden Harvest 2025! My 2nd year celebrating the crisp change of season at the beautiful mansion grounds!

Here are just two of the watercolor caricatures I had the joy of painting during the festival.

I was also neighbors with Ryan Bridge "The BugMan" under the big tent — it was such fun hearing all kinds of bug facts throughout the day! 🐛✨

This summer, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Ewokecreations in arranging the community artwork mosaic for Upper Allen Township, PA's 175th Anniversary! ✨ Seeing individual pieces come together into one vibrant design was a reminder of how art connects and reflects a community.
