Hi, I'm Hannah. If you want to know more about me, and how photography has woven its way through my life...please read on. I started working in the photography industry in 1995. I was an assistant at a large studio for about 5 years. This was in the days of film and although I loved photography, the costs to start your own photography biz back then seemed far out of my reach. I worked for a short
time for another photographer before changing my career path. I have always been a creative girl who spent my free time drawing, writing poems and daydreaming. The most logical career choice seemed to be in graphic design, so that's the direction I went. I worked for a local magazine doing ad layouts and loved what I was doing. I got married, moved to a new city and while searching for a new job closer to home I found a job that allowed me to travel. Traveling was a great experience but I knew that once I started a family, it would have to end. My son was born in February 2007 and having a career took a back seat. I didn't mind at all because nothing is more important than taking care of my little dude. Fast forward to October 2008, a friend of mine called and offered me a job photographing newborns at the newly built hospital in town. I was so happy to be out in the working world again! I really loved how the photography industry had changed since I was at the studio. That was it, I knew I had to start my own business. Here I am, full circle back in the industry I started in when I was 19. It's funny how life happens, and those little instances lead you in different directions....but somehow you always end up where you are supposed to be.
