🎏 Takayama and the surrounding areas was one of my favourite places on this trip to Japan. Tokyo and the large cities are great, but the laid back and historical alleys just hit me in the nostalgia feels.
Definitely recommend to include it on your itinerary if you are in the Nagano region 👍🏼

🗺️ Goals that I am very good at sticking to are travel plans. Once I have my heart set on a destination, I work towards my plan on getting there, and then build out the plan for the whole trip 💖⁠

🤸🏻 Goals that I am absolutely TERRIBLE at sticking to are related to working out and staying active. Maybe it is the enormously lazy bone in me, or my sheer lack of will power, but I can never seem to get off my fat as* 😂⁠

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 👁 Some may say this looks overgrown and unwieldy, but I say it is a perfectly gorgeous mess 💕 What do you see?
🎈 Travelling for me isn't just about the stunning landscapes, amazing architecture, and lush colours - it is also about the beautiful moments we experience in the ordinary. It may not be a popular, well-known spot, but it was a moment that spurred an emotion
📷 For me, seeing these types of images make me do a double take every time. Hoping the pictures I share on my feed also do the same for you! Whether it ignites emotions of joy, comfort, positivity, excitement... you name it!

💕 Have you ever been to a Seoul coffee shop before? They are next level and will put our love for Starbucks and other coffee chains to shame. ⁠

☕ They each have their unique characteristic, beautiful interior design and decor, amazing presentation of their products, and creates an atmosphere that makes you want to hang out there all day. Coffee shop hopping (instead of bar hopping) is how I've spent a lot of my days in Seoul.⁠
