I went on the beach after 10pm and the Milky Way core was clearly visible by the naked eye. What was also visible was the Atlantic City skyline and it was competing with the Milky Way for my attention. The city still looks a nuclear bomb going off but the Milky Way core looks really nice and defined.

The skies at Long Beach Island were so nice. I think I found my new dark spot in NJ! This shot of the core was taken with my 85mm and reveals so many DSOs including the Lagoon nebula, Swan Nebula, Eagle Nebula and so much more!

There was an incredible lightning display from a nearby storm in Hillsborough NJ. I had my Canon RP + Samyang 85mm set up on a tripod and snapped as many bursts as I could before it got too windy outside. There were a few more frames that had lightning in them, I hope they turn out as nice as this one!
