How cuuuute is this couple?! The Ball’s were amazing. They were so easy going and so excited to get married. Their elopement was just stunning 🥹
They came out from Missouri to elope in Glacier National Park, specifically on the first full moon of the year. The full moon held a special meaning for them. Which how cool is that! Unfortunately with the storm you couldn’t see the full moon, but it was still pretty cool. The bride and I nerded out about the full moon for a minute haha
Everything about this elopement was perfect. It made me realize I love doing elopements/micro weddings way more than the full on big weddings.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the excitement and all the love that comes with a big wedding, but there’s just something about being one-on-one with the couple. It just seems more special and intimate, ya know?
The couple is fully focused on doing photos too. They’re not worried about family watching them, making sure their guests are having a good time, or feeling rushed. I feel like the couples photos turn out better when it’s just us.
With that said, I’m only going to be taking on elopements or micro weddings moving forward with my photography biz.
We’re moving to Hawaii at the end of the month, so if anyone is looking to do a destination elopement/micro wedding in the Big Island of Hawaii please hit me up! Id love to work with you out there!
One of my goals on the island is to make a Bride and Groom Suit for anyone looking for a destination elopement package. I’d love to offer people a deal where they can have a place to stay and their photographer is included in the deal. Or something along those lines haha 💍🏔️📸
