The Oaks Family Care Center Brunswick held their second annual comedy night fundraiser. The event was hosted by Hope Church, with MC Kimberly Nocente keeping the night going smoothly, Comedian Jonnie W. made sure everyone laughed. Door prizes were given out by Lauren Gunther and Oaks staff member Jimi Rizner gave the closing. Many guests from all over Ohio were in attendance, including Tim Smith Brunswick Council-At-Large who is now a board member of the Oaks.
It was a fantastic night, and I want to just clarify I did not laugh at the turkey passing away. It's Jonnie W.s fault for hitting a G5 during his song. Well done.
If you feel like you missed something special, you did but you can attend next years. There is still an opportunity to donate, your support helps fund the Oaks and makes certain the needs of the community are met when there are unexpected funding gaps or unexpected needs arise in our community.
