Through every version of life, every adventure, every crazy idea and everything still ahead, there’s nobody I’d rather have beside me.

Ashley has been my wife, my best friend, my biggest supporter — and, whether she volunteered for the job or not, one of my favorite people to put in front of a camera.

Somewhere between cosplay and fitness, we love to create and bring visions to life.

This one started with an idea from Grace: take the theatrical glamour and energy of Moulin Rouge and turn it into something of our own.

I absolutely love collaborating on ideas and visions and watching a concept come to life simply because we thought it would be fun to create.

No characters. No competition stage. Just a concept, two incredible models, and an excuse to create something we hadn't done before.

Some characters are remembered for the battles they win.

Pakunoda is remembered for the sacrifice she made.

That's one of the things I love about character photography. The costume catches your eye—but the story is what makes people care.

For this shoot, I wanted to lean into that quiet confidence rather than the action.

There’s more than one way to be a princess. 👑✨

From the book-loving Belle to the wonderfully over-the-top world of Glinda, National Princess Week gave us the perfect excuse to revisit a few of our favorite fantasy shoots.

Different characters. Different locations. Different lighting. And apparently, at some point, a LOT of pink smoke. 😂

That's one of our favorite things about cosplay photography — every character gives us an opportunity to create something completely different and Grace brings each princess to life in her own way that is fun to capture.

So we're wrapping up National Princess Week with a little magic, and a whole lot of pink. 👑🪄📖

Celebrating World Photography Day with some of my favorite images and moments from the year.

It's hard to say what is my favorite image because I've reached the stage where every time I get to create it's better than the last time and somehow more fun.

This year I've had the pleasure of capturing a first time competition for a good friend, working with new models and bringing creative ideas to life. All of them have been a privilege to hold a camera for.

Here's to another year of growth and fun with all the people who make me a better photographer.

National Princess Week starts with a legend. 👑✨

Before the castles, the glass slippers, and the happily-ever-afters, there were princesses that weren't afraid to grab a blaster and lead a rebellion.

For National Princess Week, we’re kicking things off with two generations of Princess Leaders — and, of course, the droid who always seems to find himself right in the middle of the adventure. 💙🤍

Ashley and Grace brought two different generations of Princesses that changed the galaxy, with R2-D2 joining the mission.

Because sometimes being a princess means wearing the crown.

And sometimes it means grabbing a blaster and leading the rebellion.

All of us here at Rekall Media Group would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to the one and only Ashley Ellison!

There are strong people, and then there are people who seem to make strength part of everything they do.

Ashley is a cancer survivor, a stage competitor, an athlete, and most importantly, a great friend.

Here’s to another year of adventures, competitions, photoshoots and whatever ridiculous idea Patrick comes up with next.

Happy Birthday, Ashley! We hope it’s a great one. ❤️
