Last year was a blur for countless reasons and I never posted about this life changing experience at the time. It goes back to 2023 when I was still working as a server at a Chinatown restaurant (that is now my Voldemort) and this incredible couple came in to dine.

To say we hit it off was an understatement and at the end of their meal they were like old friends. We exchanged number and information and I told them how I had been published in during the Pandemic but had no way of servicing my clients back in Barbados due to the lockdown. How the accident in February of 2020 coupled with the pandemic had brought my wedding photography career to an effective halt.

Fast forward three months and I receive a call asking me if I want to come to for a few days to shoot their dream wedding at a castle on the ocean no less. I gave it less than 1 second of thought before saying yes and with courage, flew out to meet these people whom I got to know over their dinner service with me.

The dream required much pinching and now in 2025 I’m finally able to post and talk about how and brought my mojo back and my passion for the craft. We had a blast beyond blasts making these images and wound up having even more fun since that day both with further work and a lot of play. If ever work hard play hard was a couple… well here they are.

My 2024 adventures were epic but this one stands out amongst them. And even though a few months later these two humans would have me jumping out of a plane in Sydney. Nothing can touch this intimate wedding experience in Catania.
