While going through some of my photos, I came across this particular one that I took while still residing in AZ. The unique landscapes of the Southwest have left quite an impression on me. I appreciate being able to see anything that was built (road wise) before the interstate system we know of today was even a thought. These bridge arches that spanned a small wash, are the last remnants of what I believe was Route 66. It also could have been part of a long-lost RR spur. There is not enough detail in the surrounding area to actually know. The road I was traveling on did follow the path of the old route, as did the Santa-Fe RR Transcon line. I hope to return out to the region in the near future to do more exploring. There is so much more out there to explore and photograph.
