Excited to teach Travel Photography this fall at Rice's Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. Come learn how to become more confident by learning how to take travel photos in your home town. Classes will be hands on with some field trips.

I am proud to announce I will be teaching my first photography class this semester at the Susanne Glasscock School of Continuing Studies at Rice University. The class is open to anyone with a beginning knowledge of photography. We will be working on travel photography near and far. Let me know if you are interested or have any questions.

We returned from our amazing trip last week. Still uploading memory cards and should start editing next week. I learned so much from Luis and our amazing guides. We will put together the best possible trip for our group. If you are interested in coming please let me know. We are going to try and take a group around December. Please let me know your interests. Architecture,culture,music,religion,dance,fitness. We will try and give non photography options for most days if anyone needs a break.

For those who have been to Cuba previously.
The trip includes some things you might have experienced, such as visits to iconic sites and institutions (from El Morro to the Museum of Fine Arts), but other aspects are unique: I have secured a performance by, and a shooting session with the School of Modern Dance of Cuba. We will also have an architectural walk devoted to photography. Each one of these will have a Cuban specialist guiding us. Luis is scholar of Cuban studies, and has published extensively on topics of visual culture and race relations in the island.

Another highlight is a trip to the town of Trinidad, guided by another architect.

If you would like to chat, Luis is in Madrid but available. We would need to fine tune schedules, as I am currently in Madrid
