I didn't know as long as you buy a $10 ticket to the butterfly exhibit at The Houston Museum of Natural Science you can do ANY kind of phot session inside as long as you don't use any kind of flash. 🤯

Was I so excited about the shot I forgot to look behind me and fell backwards into the exhibit? Yes. Were any butterflies harmed in the process? No. Was my ego incredibly bruised, and maybe my bum? Absolutely.

Post two for the amazing Herradura event in Dallas, and this one I dedicate to the other creatives. There were so many of us, and photography can be an over saturated market in some humans eyes, but to me, there's enough bread for everyone to eat. We collaborate, we don't compete.

I had THE MOST FUN meeting this gem of a human AJ working the event. Souls like his remind you what passion in the industry is, and any one who's anyone knows Brasted. Our Guru. The Dalai Lama of event content. There's times I stop at events and look around and am sooooo genuinely filled with gratefulness to be in the position I'm in, amongst the greats of the industry I'm learning from, and passing that knowledge down to the passionate individuals coming up in the industry behind me. I learn something new everyday, and hope that never changes. I hope my passion never leaves me and that I'm always so fortunate to meet AJs in this world. If you read this text me buddy I've got an actual wrist strap for you. 😆❤

The Appeal Barristers Cocktails Launch Party was 🔥! I met Brandi at a Dusse event last year and we instantly fell in love. It was an honor to meet her family and friends that came in from all over the country to show her support, and I loved hearing her story and how her cocktail idea was born. I can't wait to see it in stores in HTX, and behind the bar soon. 😍

Sweet little Elena ran the whole show like toddlers normally do at all our family sessions with them. I've known her GRANDMAAAAA (crazyyyyy) for over a decade now and genetics are wild.I see her so much in those twinkly little eyes.

Having worked with Jacki on so many other projects, I was beyond ecstatic when we started chatting about a few creative ideas she had for the warmest hug you can walk into . Within just a couple months of doors opening, anyone who leaves this place leaves with the same feeling that their family, and I wanted to capture that fun, cheeky element each member of their staff brings. I obsessed over our inspo, packed every ounce of gear I could think of, prepped for every possibility, but of course on production day they were replacing all the doors in the building. Those DJI mini mics really came in clutch. My FX3 filmed the most beautiful footage, and all my lighting equipment created a soft glow midday that makes it feel like it was all filmed in the evening.

Huge thanks to and for the tasty tunes and for being my second set of eyes and assistant videographer on set.

Fun fact. Kam and I have now been collectively creating together for over 27 years. We were in middle school when we did our first Baby Jane skit. Next is her music video, so stay tuned as we keep learning, growing, gaining new skills and leveling up content. 🥹
