Hi I'm Shelley, and I'm a "natural light" photographer, which means I use natural light and shoot on location in Northwest Houston, TX (Spring, Klein, Cypress, Tomball or The Woodlands). I am willing to meet you in downtown Houston for an urban look and can negotiate traveling farther...let's chat! My scripture reference in Matthew 5:16 is the inspiration for the name "Natural Light" and has a dou
ble meaning. It means that I use natural light and want my "photo peeps" to feel comfortable, to be "natural". It also means that I desire to be transparent in my faith and "shine" a light on God's creation, His love, and His majesty through my photography. It is my hope that others will see God through my lens and through me. I am unofficially a "not for profit" photographer which means I mostly use the money I raise to fund mission trips and other causes I believe in. Currently I give to Love146 and Redeemed Ministries, both anti-human trafficking organizations. I'm also saving up and hoping to return on a 2nd mission trip to France in the near future, and some money will support my college student at Sam Houston State University (go Bearkats!). I take pride in being an economical choice for those that can not afford a "fancy" photographer, or perhaps would like to support my efforts to make a difference in the world. A one hour photo shoot is $100, which also includes the time for processing and editing, and you keep ALL the photos, so it's really quite a deal.
