Skillz Art Skillz Art specials in creating art that touches your soul. We are artists who have gone through some hard times which shows through in our art.

Skilz Art is the creation of Brian Grabow and Marshall Hankamer, two inmates who are serving time in the TDCJ in Texas. Brain became good friends with Dr. David K. Patterson and began sending him art work that he was creating with pen and ink. David encouraged Brian to pursue his dream to become a successful artist. Brian and Marshall both began as tattoo artists before getting caught up by making

some poor choices and ending up in prison for their crimes. They have turned their lives around while in prison drawing art based upon tattoo themes and to express the hard times that they have gone through. Skills Art was born as a way to show off their art and pursue other interests together as friends. David and later Nicole Lynn Hutchins who has known Brian for years, became involved with Skillz Art and together they all are taking it all to the next level. Stay tuned for those results.
