Hello, I'm Glenn, the “accidental tourist.” Welcome to my photography page! I’ve been a photographer for most of my life. A few years ago, I began to take this art form a bit more seriously. For decades, I owned an Olympus OM 1. In 2010, I transitioned to digital photography, using a Nikon D60 I found on Craigslist. While inexpensive, it taught me valuable lessons about f-stops, shutter speeds, IS
O and of course the Nikon brand. Imagine getting a new camera and within days, going on a trip to Switzerland? It was a magical trip for many reasons: The Swiss Alps, The Montreux Jazz Festival, and the amazing intersection of cultures. Let’s not forget me falling down an up bound escalator while trying to save my tripod, seriously. I shot most of the photos in automatic mode, purely out of fear of messing something up! It’s still one of those experiences I wish to relive. Since those day’s, I purchase two new Nikon camera bodies I’ve been all over the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Central America and learned so much about composition, lighting, and post processing. I currently shoot with a full frame Nikon Mirrorless Z6. It’s a wonderful camera with huge potential. My “walk around” lens is a Sigma 24-105 f4, with a 70-200 f2.8 nearby.
