Memorial Day 2019 •

Memorial day..is a day REMEBER and HONOR those who lost their lives for this country. 🇺🇸 May we think of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. •
•
Memorial Day was originally created to remember those who perished in the Civil War. It has now been expanded to honor Americans who have perished in any war.
Take a few moments to think about the wars this country has fought in: The Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Korea, and everything in between.
To think about just how much of the course of the history of America has changed. Despite changes with the course of history every generation had seen a threat against our liberties and way of life.
So with that said we are only able to be here because of the heavy price that so many men and women have paid. Let's not forget the price paid by the friends and families these service men and women left behind. I hope that as a nation we can reflect on the cost of liberty those shared sacrifices have given us. It is the freedom of this nation which makes this country great, but it's through the willingness of generations to fight for this nation that allows our freedom to endure the test of time. •
