Besides being absolutely lovely to hang out and collaborate with, Courtney nailed one of the hardest elements of headshots.

Her wardrobe was simple, but specific. Notice how she brought some staples, but the color choices, and the small embellishments in each top really make her pieces stand out.

Austin saw these new backdrops on his feed, and he immediately DMed me, asking for another session. And I am dang happy he did!

When I do a headshot shoot, it feels like more than just a session, it's a connection. One of the things I love most about my work is who I do it with: actors. Actors have always been, and will always be some of my favorite people. When I get the opportunity to reconnect with past clients, I use it as an opportunity to check in, redefine their acting goals, and go even further into the work than we did last time.

I have so much gratitude for Austin and all my repeat clients who have helped keep my doors open after all these years. Love y'all.

Y'all know I've been geeking out over all of these new, gorgeous hand painted backdrops....but Ilana was the first to choose a few on the yellow/gold for her final edits and I'm even more obsessed. Yellow has always been a signature color for my studio, but this high saturated mustard is about to hit my feed waaaay more often! 🌞
