We are officially in the years of whispered secrets, growing pains, and feet that are nearly as big as mom’s. We look at them and see the toddlers they were, the teenagers they’re becoming, and the pieces of our heart walking around outside our body. They don’t hold our hand in public as much anymore, but we can still feel them reaching for our soul every single day. Being their mother is the greatest heartbreak and the most beautiful gift all at once - watching them grow up means watching them grow away, and yet, we’ve never been closer 🩵🩷
