Today brought the heartbreaking news of Dolly’s passing—a true national treasure. 💔

Dolly was beautiful, bodacious, graceful, talented, gifted, lovable, and, above all, wonderfully down-to-earth. In so many ways, she reminds me of my wife, Wendy.

My Softail Custom, **Jolene**, was named after Dolly’s legendary song. It’s the bike I ride most when I’m around home or traveling through Ohio. My Ultra Limited, **Black Betty**, gets a little jealous because Jolene gets all the local riding time while Betty spends more time in the garage. 😂🏍️

Wendy has reminded me of Dolly for as long as I can remember. The first time I saw her in high school, she was the lead in the school play, playing Snow White. The moment she sang, she completely captured my heart. She was also a talented flute player, a cheerleader, incredibly intelligent, and a member of the National Honor Society.

I’ve always thought of Wendy as the brunette version of Dolly. ❤️

We will miss you, Dolly. I’m almost certain you and Wendy would have been best friends.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the memories, and the inspiration. 🕊️💗
